big waves France

Summer in France can be a bit frustrating for swell. The swell can pulse, meaning that a 6ft swell can arrive, disappear the next day & then come back in the following day. MARCH SHORT TRIP 09

Hi Every body Wijaya team had a great short trip in March 2009!! We stayed one week and we had sessions everyday : Nipussi, Pitstop, 4bobs, Aframes, bankvault and Ebay. from 3/4 ft to 10, our trip was a success. ALways glassy or light winds, the surf was consistent with ... no crowds..Only 2/3 mates ( Hi JEZ!!! See you soon!!) including Paul (PHM) and us... carribean coast

Hi Marty & everyone else As asked if I had any news about the surf in Colombia I would send some information. I recently made a trip to the Carribean coast to a city called Cartagena. Even though it is a sea the Carribean has some good surfing potential. At the rivermouth in a suburb called Bocagrande I noticed a conisistent wave brought from the consistent winds that were around at the time. Surf Conditions in Byron Bay - Saturday 20th September 2008

Just got back from a great surf coaching session at 'Cosy Corner' Byron Bay. The wind is strong northerly and for some reason there were no other surfers out till after 9:00am. The two girls, Lisa and Kate from Sydney, had a great experience firstly catching white water waves then out the back through the rip and caught some unbroken 3 footers, down the beach the experienced surfers had a few 4 footers+.
