Surf Conditions Byron Bay October 1st 2008
Well the North Wester has blown in but I still managed to get a few bumpy waves at 'Cosy Corner' looking forward to some more Southerlys but i guess it is the season for Northerlys.

Surf Conditions in Byron Bay - Saturday 20th September 2008
Just got back from a great surf coaching session at 'Cosy Corner' Byron Bay. The wind is strong northerly and for some reason there were no other surfers out till after 9:00am. The two girls, Lisa and Kate from Sydney, had a great experience firstly catching white water waves then out the back through the rip and caught some unbroken 3 footers, down the beach the experienced surfers had a few 4 footers+. (measured by the front of the wave)

We do long term surfboard hire for traveling surfers. Its a bit of a unique spin on the standard surfboard rental services offered on the east coast. Check out our website for details: http://www.goldcoastsurfboards.com.au.
I actually have a few clients who pick up my boards from Coolangatta and then head down your way, so we should put our heads together at some stage and see if there are any opportunities to promote each other, with people travelling up and down the coast.
Just not in the next couple of weeks though. My first child was expected to be born on Wed just past, she is dragging her heals a bit though.
